  • Working from home currently, planning from the summer to work two days a week in the office 

 

A new opportunity has arisen due to a finance transformation. The Head of Financial Planning will be seconded to the Transformation for a period of 6 months and therefore you will back-fill their position.

The role is focused on Change, leading the management accounting and FP&A, integrating two teams and Business Partnering. You will have strong team management skills as well as be ‘hands on’. 

You will lead and support the team and integrate new members from other parts of the organisation. Your focus will be:

-       Management of the existing team

-       Onboard new members of the team ensuring a collaborative and supportive team dynamic

-       Implementing and enhancing business partnering to create value

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop analysis to direct and challenge decision making
  • Overall responsibility for the preparation of the annual budget
  • Financial forecast preparation of their annual and medium-term financial plans;
  • Team management
  • Onboarding new members of the team
  • Identify and embed efficiency opportunities from amalgamation of two management accountant teams
  • Inspire finance business partnering
  • Work with other finance leads to ensure consistency

You must have managed a team and have a business partner mindset. You will be able to quickly demonstrate value and elicit trust using strong commercial acumen

 

Skills & Experience

You must be a Qualified Accountant with management accounting and FP&A experience who has led a team. You will be able to demonstrate a finance business partnering mindset and track record or providing financial leadership.

Any experience in embedding new departments or people is desired but not required.
