Our client is an established charity based in Kent who is currently recruiting for a Director of Finance to join the organisation. They will be instrumental in supporting the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team to make commercial business decisions with a view to growing the organisation’s income.
Working closely with all areas of the business, you will act as the leading interface between management and trustees on Finance and you will lead the financial strategy, planning and budgeting process, ensuring strong processes are in place in order to achieve strong performance throughout the business.
The right person will be suitably qualified to underpin the financial integrity of the organisation and will ensure the provision of both accurate and timely financial and management information. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, suitable candidates will have broad professional experience in financial management and accounting. Experience within the third sector is regarded as desirable but not essential. What is a must, is the desire and proven ability to successfully lead a finance team, demonstrating both technical accounting and managerial ability.
