Resourcery Group are working with a Private Equity backed company who are in a period of transition having recently acquired this B2B company. Our client is looking to bring on board an experienced Interim Head of Finance for a period of 6 months plus assignment to support them with this journey. This role will be office based in the North West with overnight travel for 3-4 days per week to the South East in the first couple of months of the assignment. 

The role:

  • To receive a hand over from the exiting incumbent on current month end processes and procedures
  • Manage a small finance team and lead on day to day running of the finance department
  • Produce the month management accounts and consolidate the divisions numbers 
  • Budgeting and forecasting and re-forecasting throughout the year
  • Capex management
  • To develop and enhance methods of working and reporting 
  • Be a key support to the CFO in identifying and driving the change and transformation programme 
  • Develop a governance framework

The ideal candidate:

  • A fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Have a strong background in management accounting and financial performance reporting
  • Have prior experience of staff management
  • Have a background in change delivery and process improvements
  • Be flexible on travel to the South East when required
