With an Enterprise value well in excess of £100 million our client an Industrial services group has an outstanding record of growth both organically and through acquisition and the backing of well regarded shareholders. To strengthen the executive we seek to appoint an outstanding Chief Financial Officer who will report to the Chief Executive and work closely with the Chairman and executive management and make a real contribution to the strategic and operational debate.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for Finance and information technology through the support of a central finance team and a well developed MI platform . The individual to be appointed will be demonstrably commercial , be able to point to having made a contribution to the operational and strategic development of a discrete business ideally with a successful exit . He / she will be the principal point of contact with auditors , banks and shareholders and will have excellent interpersonal skills , be able to present well and have the commercial acumen to stand rigorous challenge from the shareholders .

Demonstrably commercial and with obvious potential to progress beyond this role this is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in a business with a clear strategy, a well regarded management team and ambitious future plans . The Chief Financial Officer will in all likelihood be a graduate chartered accountant with a proven record of delivery as a finance leader and with an interest and aptitude to be involved in the general management of the business .
