Head of Financial Reporting

Head of Financial Reporting | Essex | £80,000 - £100,000 plus Pension Scheme, Bonus Scheme, Health Insurance, Life Assurance | Technology / Manufacturing 

We are looking for a Head of Financial Reporting to be the CFO’s trusted right hand person, providing the team with clear leadership and vision to support the finance function and to meet its internal and external obligations, managing stakeholder and Board expectations. A Tech manufacturer likely to IPO this year, this is an exciting opportunity, providing the successful candidate with career enhancing experience.

We need an ambitious, ACA qualified, professional finance expert with strong IFRS technical knowledge and experience of working for a publicly listed organisation (ideally NASDAQ/NYSE, but not a pre-requisite).

This role will also involve managing a small team to ensure that proper and timely accounting records are produced and maintained to support reported results, including reconciliations and other control mechanisms. Excellent stakeholder management is of critical importance as is peer collaboration.

You Must:

• Be ACA ICAEW qualified
• Have a deep knowledge of IFRS
• Have experience of working in a publicly listed organisation – preferably with experience of working with a US listed company High degree of financial and commercial acumen – as well as attention to detail. Must also be able to articulate complex financial detail to senior management, non-financial individuals and to external auditors.
• Understand how to operate a finance function to support a globally expanding business.
