Finance Business Partner

Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with a large manufacturing business in Doncaster who have experienced consistent year on year growth in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team.

This role will suit a driven Qualified/Qualified by Experience candidate to join the business in providing financial business partnering and ensure that all reporting, budgeting and forecasting is completed.

Responsibilities include:

*Effective Business Partnering with various stakeholders in order to ensure that financial targets are achieved.
*Support the integrity of the financial and internal control environment.
*Provide relevant financial analysis, in order to support decision making & effective cost control.
*Responsibility for preparation of financial evaluation of investment proposals (Cap Ex) and for the supported business sector
*Highlight adverse variances to functional management team and recommend actions.
*Develop a greater financial awareness and understanding within Management Team.
*Lead the preparation of month end reports, commentaries and reporting packs.
*Ensure the business sector continues to focus on flow profitability and improved financial performance. Support the on-going development & roll out of Flow Profitability reporting.
*Manage the completion of internal audit work on drivers, and inventory.
*Deputising for the Head of Finance
*Lead and manage small team

Person specification

*Previous business partnering role providing financial support to non-finance functions
*Previous experience in a management accounting finance role
*Demonstrate being a team player working alongside other functions
*Working to tight deadlines
*Excellent use of communication skills, both written and verbal
*Good system skills - specifically Excel
