Operations Business Partner/ Senior Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a fully qualified and experienced Management Accountant within the operations and production side of the business for a well established and prestigious firm in Doncaster.

This important and influential role will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for producing detailed month end reports and analysis for the company's manufacturing plants, as well as business partnering closely with the operational and production teams to help drive continuous improvement and improve cost-based performance.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

*Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
*Business partnering with various stakeholders within the firm's manufacturing plants
*Assisting with various projects to increase the efficiency of the production process
*Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly operational management reporting for senior management
*Operational planning, budgeting and forecasting
*Providing variance analysis along with commentary
*Costing and related analysis for the plants
*CAPEX/Project appraisal and proposal
*Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and productivity
*Assisting with strategic development of operational areas
*Daily production and inventory reporting, reconciling the inventory position and provisions
*Assisting in both internal and external audits

The successful Management Accountant will be a qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant and having a good background in manufacturing is essential. The successful candidate will have a passion for getting beyond the numbers and driving positive change. They seek a confident communicator, able to deal with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to be able to work in a fast-paced business environment.
