Senior Technical Accounting Manager

Your new company
I am currently working with a highly acquisitive insurance broking group looking to hire a senior technical accounting manager to join the London office. This role is a key part of the controllership division of the business and will be responsible for addressing complex accounting issues.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Technical Accounting, this is a broad and varied role with key technical accounting responsibilities including:

• Accounting Policy manual updates
• Lease Accounting
• Revenue Recognition
• Financial Instruments
• Disposals and acquisitions
• FRS102 to FRS101 transitions
• Ad-hoc complex accounting issues

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with ACA training preferred. You will have excellent working knowledge of IFRS and FRS101/102 and previous accounting policy work is highly desirable. You will need excellent excel and the ability to communicate complex financials in an understandable and actionable manner.
