Sellick Partnership has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial and growing business.

Purpose:

The purpose and main responsibility of the Assistant Management Accountant is to support the Finance manager and the wider Finance team in all aspects of financial control as defined in the Finance departmental strategy.

The ideal Assistant Management Accountant will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work accurately & efficiently to meet deadlines

Desirable:

  • Experience of using Jet reports (design mode)

Qualifications:

  • AAT

The Daily duties of the Management Account will consist of but not be limited to:

  • Support the Finance Manager in producing management accounts & accompanying management pack
  • Conduct accurate analytical review and variance analysis
  • Prepare accurate month end schedules including accruals and prepayments
  • Record, monitor and report on capital expenditure
  • Monitor internal projects and development time
  • Preparation and submission of complex VAT returns
  • Preparation and submission of accurate quarterly IPT returns
  • Liaise with the external auditors during the interim and yearend audit
  • Provide audit deliverables within the required time frame
  • Maintain weekly cash flow reporting and treasury administration
  • Day to day interaction with the Investment Managers
  • Monthly regulatory reporting to the Investment Managers
  • Support the development and implementation of the financial control policy
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Group's insurance policies
  • Support the further integration of the subsidiary entities and new products
  • Assist the wider finance team with preparation of the annual business plan
  • Provide ad hoc support to the accounts payable function
