An established business based in Warrington are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis.

The management team are looking to bring in an ambitious person, newly qualified OR 12-18mths PQE, who has experience of reporting, forecasting and FP&A whilst supporting the operations team and other stakeholders.

Applicants must be have excellent reporting skills, confident communicator and ideally be from a logistics background with strong analytical experience

As Finance Business Partner your role will involve:

  • Timely reporting of all costs and KPI's
  • Monthly review and challenge of P&L, identifying areas for cost saving whilst Investigating discrepancies and monitoring service levels
  • Produce annual budgets and quarterly re forecasts
  • Liaising with and providing group periodic forecasts to carriers and warehousing functions to assist in capacity planning
  • Support the management team by providing quality and timely information and forecasts
  • Identify most cost-effective shipping methods across the UK and Europe
  • Financial Modelling and analysis
  • Assess current supply chain performance; help surface improvement opportunities that can deliver value by making the logistics operations more effective, cost efficient, and better controlled
  • Provide stakeholders and operations teams with ad hoc analysis

To apply for the role you must:

  • Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
  • Have experience of FBP or FP&A within a fast paced commercial environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and experience handling large data sets
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to manipulate and present data to produce meaningful information
  • Comfortable dealing with and influencing senior business stakeholders
  • Ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships with other departments.
  • Understanding of a multi-faceted Supply Chain
  • An enthusiastic and positive person with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent/clear communication skills (verbal/written), including in conflict
