Management Accountant - Real Estate. Our Client are a successful and leading property development and construction company. The firm are currently focused on creating more environmentally-friendly developments nationwide, through the use of technology and alternative construction methods. They have recently acquired a considerable amount of new developments and are now looking for a management accountant to join their UK finance team to help manage these new developments.

Reporting directly to the UK Head of Finance, The Role will see the management accountant carrying out responsibilities such as:

  • Responsible for the accounts for two separate developments.
  • Cashflow management
  • Handling project appraisals.
  • Ensuring that sub-contractors are paid in full.
  • Ensuring that all financial models are up to date.
  • Ensuring that the P&L balance sheet is kept up to date.
  • Producing the financials for board pack reports.
  • Responsible for looking after the cash for their two developments.

The Person must have previous experience of working within the property development sphere. Experience of using an accounts system (i., COINS, SAP, SUN) is also preferred. The person should be prepared to work from home until it is safe to return to an office environment. The company have a very strong team ethos and you will have to display excellent interpersonal skills to succeed in the role. Furthermore, since you will be responsible for more than one development at any one time, you must possess strong time management skills.
