Elevation Recruitment are currently working exclusively with this fantastic growing business in the heart of Sheffield. This business now find themselves in need for a driven, knowledgeable and highly enthusiastic finance professional, who will assist across all areas of their busy accounts department with maintenance of period end reporting and preparing full management packs, bringing them up to speed so the department can operate much more efficiently!

Duties & Responsibilities:

o Lead the delivery of the management reporting for the finances of the entities, including production of annual budgets and weekly/monthly reporting, costings, forecasting and variance analysis and commentary
o Identify and report potential financial opportunities and risks to the relevant managers for the entities/budget centres they are responsible for
o Complete balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations
o Ensure that the income and costs reported are accurate
o Advise in the interpretation of performance reports to ensure that all managers have accurate information to be incorporated in the decision-making process
o Support the Group Financial Controller in ad-hoc financial support/project work as required

Key Candidate requirements:

*Previous experience of using Sage 50 is essential
*Held a similar role previously
*Computer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills (including Vlookup's and pivot tables)
*Be able to commit to a 9-month position
*Ability to compile, analyse and review data to a high level of accuracy
*High level of attention to detail
*Friendly and tactful personality
*Strong inter-personal skills both verbal & written
*Like working with people as part of a team
*Accounts Experience: 2 years (Required)
