Planning & Reporting Manager - Anaplan | Central London | Media/Tech | £flexible + Bonus & Benefits

A market leader in their sector are currently seeking a commercially astute and detail focused Planning & Reporting Manager (Anaplan) to head up their Anaplan centre of excellence. This is a newly created growth position, due to an increased subscriber base over lockdown. Working closely with the FP&A team.

This position would be ideal for someone with an accounting background (but not a hard requirement) who enjoys modelling and working with Anaplan. You will ideally be a certified Anaplan model builder.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing monthly financial analysis and insight into commercial performance.
• Ownership of the Anaplan platform throughout the business. Setting design standards and agreeing the development pipeline.
• Designing new financial models and setting up dashboards to analyse Key Performance Indicator
• Ability to configure, maintain and modify Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions and other model settings
• Rebuilding and improve existing financial models - including revenues, actuals and forecasting
• Business partnering and supporting the sales team to drive strategy, being the key finance head in business case teams.
• Data warehousing
• Data manipulation/mining of complex data sets
• Ad hoc business case projects

Requirements:

• Ideally an accounting background
• Certified Anaplan builder
• Experience with modelling packages such as Alteryx, Anaplan, Adaptative Insights, Maplesoft, Quantrix, SAP etc.
• Data driven with a commitment to process improvement
• Experience manipulating large complex data sets to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Advantage - a software language such as SQL or Python.
