FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (12 MONTH FTC)

Your new role
This key position has been created due to an increase in volume of work coming through the team. It will initially be for a period of 12 months on a fixed term contract basis, however there would be the potential to become a permanent team member thereafter. In this position you would be there to maintain a technical accounting function to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient financial processes operate across the team. Key areas covered include:

• Lead the Financial Accounting & Taxation function
• Financial Accounting
• Taxation - Manage the end to end process and be the point of contact for the business for all aspects of taxation
• Audit - Manage the annual audit process
• Financial Controls - Develop, implement & maintain accounting policies, and ensure robust, resilient, efficient, and enabling financial controls are in place across the whole organisation

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal person for this role will be fully qualified with a proven and recent background in technical accounting. Commercially astute, it is essential that you have the confidence to collaborate effectively with others at all levels and from multiple disciplines in a fast-paced set up. Key qualities required include confidence, enthusiasm, and a positive nature along with strong systems skills and advanced experience on MS Excel.
