Finance Systems Analyst (FTC)

A fantastic, new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Systems Analyst to join a reputable business based in the Barnsley area to join the team on a 14 month fixed term contract!

The Finance Systems Analyst will be involved in:

· Analysis of existing datasets & workflows
· Managing BI, Data Preparation and Data Visualisation tools
· Production, delivery, and improvement of existing reports
· Developing ETL procedures for Data Warehouse purposes
· Managing data quality and cleansing activities
· Acting as a bridge between Finance & IT departments
· Collaborating with Financial Systems colleagues
· IT system implementation, automation, and development projects
· Standardising & streamlining existing MS Excel models and reports
· Performing data integration for Data Warehouse and Multi-Dimensional applications

The Successful Candidate will have:

· Strong IT background with a history of transformation projects
· Previous experience as an FSA, Business Analyst or Systems Accountant
· Experience of Data Preparation & Visualisation tools
· Experience with Power BI, Tableau or a similar dashboarding tool
· Degree level qualification / Studying for professional accounting qualification desirable
· Business partnering experience desirable
