The role will support the Regional Management team to develop the business and achieve a range of performance targets aligned to Global strategic goals. In addition, the role will cover group level FP&A activities, including process improvements, to continuously improve and develop the group's Business Partnering service.

Description
- Perform or organise the execution of the business controlling tasks as defined in Financial Control Manuals
- Analyse the organisation's business activities and advise management on financial matters and impacts of the business transactions and decisions.
- Support functional or operational area managers in forecasting the future results of their business.
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets.
- Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organisation's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.
- Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
- Assure the correctness of managerial information including order book, WIP, late cost reserves, accruals and pre to post calculations
- Develop and implement annual budgets in line with budgeting guidelines.
- Maintain strong connections with other Finance colleagues to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.
- May lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of Finance professionals to achieve established goals.
- Meet all reporting deadlines with financial reporting aligned to Accounting Standards.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A professional accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
Analysis and problem solving skills
Attention to detail.
- The ability to establish strong working relationships and effective internal and external networks.
- The ability to identify issues and makes timely, tough and objective decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Confident and competent designing and operating large and complex spreadsheets on a frequent basis.
- PowerPoint skills.
- Complex ERP system experience, for example, SAP.
