Management Accountant - Qualified - ACA/ACCA
Permanent - High Growth SME - Nottingham
£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
This role will report directly into the Financial Controller and is the ideal opportunity for a practice or industry trained individual to step in to a broad Management/Financial Accounting role with exceptional scope for progression.
- Monthly production of first draft management accounts and related reports
- Responsibly for accuracy of financial statements
- Monitor cashflow and regular cash flow reporting
- Year end statutory accounts preparation - IFRS Accounting standards, liaison with auditors ensuring all requests resolved
- Financial Reconciliations including balance sheet reconciliations
- Support with preparation of budgets/forecasts
- Payroll review/posting of payroll journals
- VAT Returns/payments and monthly intrastat reporting
- Supporting the finance team with their day to day tasks
Our client are keen to attract a practice qualified individual with 2 years post qualification experience as a minimum, alternatively our client is considering industry trained ACCA qualified individuals. Either way you will have the ability to produce accurate and high quality work and have strong communication skills - internally managing expectations and with internal stakeholders. Additionally your will have well developed Excel skills
