Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a market leading international manufacturing business in Barnsley to recruit a Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the main purpose of the Financial Accountant role is to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the financial information for the UK and the preparation of all legal/government returns.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:-
*Statutory accounts completion
*Posting month end journals and reports
*Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
*SOX reporting
*Reviewing of journals
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Fixed asset register maintenance
*Tax packs analysis and tax packs completion
*Assistance with audit queries
*Any other ad hoc tasks in line with assisting the Financial Controller
To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:-
*ACA or ACCA Qualified
*Ideally educated to degree level (preferable)
*Statutory accounting experience is essential
*General ledger experience
*Good team player
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
