Part-time Accountant (15 hours) - Flexible working

Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with a market leading business in sourcing a Part-time Accountant to join the organisation on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with a proven track record of working in a similar role alongside being an excellent communicator with the ability to work under pressure.

Further responsibilities will include:

*Support the month-end year-end process
*Preparing and monitoring budgets
*Reconcile accounts sale to VAT return
*Input journals onto the accounts management system
*Nominal and account reconciliations
*Year-end preparations
*Assist with audit queries
*Financial information analysis and reporting
*Take responsibility for ensuring that financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
*Budget preparation
*Investigate and reconcile VAT, PAYE and Tax duties, including corporation tax
*Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
*Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
