A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester City Centre are looking to develop their senior management team with the appointment of a General Practice Manager. This firm have been established for over thirty years providing a range of compliance and advisory services to well established businesses and owners. This role has arisen due to continued business wins and is a great opportunity for an experienced manager to progress their career in a modern and flexible working environment.

Your new role
As a general practice manager you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, predominantly in the SME / OMB space for which you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of compliance, outsourcing and advisory services to. You will oversee a small team reviewing their bookkeeping, year end compliance and audit work, take ownership of the client relationship; leading client meetings and delivering ad hoc advisory work. As a manager you will be responsible for managing deadlines, billing and the direct line management of your team. You will also be encouraged to gain involvement in BD, pitching for new business and networking in the local area.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA chartered accountant who ideally has their practising certificate. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing your own portfolio of OMBs / SMEs and be comfortable in overseeing a rounded accounting, tax and outsourcing service. As a member of the firm's senior management team you must have strong communication, organisational and leadership skills and demonstrate a passion for providing excellent client service.

What you'll get in return
In this role you will receive a competitive salary of around £45000 - £50000 DOE plus a generous holiday allowance, flexible and permanent hybrid working arrangements, above statutory pension scheme and a bonus scheme. You will work within modern offices in Manchester City Centre and there is the option to work remotely part of the week.
