We are looking for a finance manager to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the founders to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. You need to be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support CEO in financial operations & matters
• Ensure accounting records are maintained on a timely accurate basis
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts on a timely basis
• Prepare monthly consolidated reports for UK & Turkey accounts
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Provide accurate and concise information to directors/managers
• Maintain cashflow summary for the business and alert directors of any fourth coming cash requirements
• Aid directors with ad hoc financial reporting
• Administer payroll and autoenrollment reporting requirements
• Liaise with accountants with statutory reporting requirements
• Oversee purchasing and supplier management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Management or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience (CPA or MBA preferred)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Powerpoint specifically)
• Experience with using Xero software is a plus
• Happy to work on own
• Team player with a can-do attitude
• Detail-oriented, analytical and results oriented
• Happy to work at an international deep tech startup
