Financial Accounting Manager

My client is an investor backed, medium sized business with multi-site operations and complex accounting. They are looking to recruit a qualified, senior accountant with strong financial accounting experience into this newly-created role.

You will manage a small team and assist the Group Financial Controller with all aspects of the accounts. You will review and develop accounting processes and procedures, improve the use of the systems and ensure that all regulations are correct. You will manage all balance sheet controls, be involved in reconciliations and month end as well as work on year end reporting. You will work with the wider business, ensuring that managers understand the financial processes and you will manage banking and cash reporting.

Duties include:

• Manage balance sheet controls and reconciliations
• Year end statutory accounts and preparing for Audit
• Banking and cash management
• VAT and statutory returns
