Your new role
They are looking for a Director of Accounting to lead and bolster the financial engine comprised of a large and experienced team of finance professionals. With direct reports, and oversight of the European shared service centre this role essentially takes the lead on all statutory accounts and delivery of figures, with a key responsibility being the navigation through this period of large-scale process change and implementation of strategy. You will also provide technical accounting support and oversight for implementation of new accounting standards related to US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP.

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires gravitas and technical prowess. Proven leadership capabilities are essential, whilst a strong analytical skill set will be exercised as part of a diverse accountancy colour pallet. You will enjoy aspiring to new targets and the journey of daily ambition and drive. A fully qualified ACA, CPA or ACCA accountancy qualification with a portfolio of experience and credibility will be imperative. A deep and broad understanding of financial standards will provide a well-rounded core strength to enable versatility and adaptability as you lead. Financial reporting experience in a global US publicly listed Company would also be a huge asset.
