Risk Manager - 6 Month Contract

Your new company

Your new company is a major business operating within the B2B Telecoms space, with some operations also across the B2C Telecoms sector. They have a mature, but lean team across Risk and Internal Audit - and are now seeking a qualified Risk Manager to join their function on a 6 month contract position in London, though they could be flexible on location for the right candidate, including flexible working options.


Your new role

In your role as the Risk Manager on this 6 month contract position, you will be a key player in the Enterprise Risk Management set-up, working with senior stakeholders and Risk owners to ensure there is a strong and accurate Risk framework in place.

You will report directly to the Head of Risk in this position, working alongside Risk Managers - and so you will need to have proven experience in delivering an ERM for a large, complex business. This is a contract role but you will be expected to make decisions with relevant stakeholders that could affect the business long term and so you will need to have enough knowledge to be able to make these in an informed way.

You will need to continue to monitor risks across the business, working on the risk framework where necessary to reflect any changes that may arise.


What you'll need to succeed

• Experience with Risk Management in a large business
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders in various departmental areas
• Relevant qualification for a Risk role (CRMA, CIRM, CRISC etc.)
• Ideally also holding an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.)
• Ability to work in the UK without need for sponsorship
• Ability to start within 2 weeks of being offered the role
