A service business based in the City Centre of Liverpool is looking for an experienced MI (Management Information) Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for producing performance reports and analysing the data to enable you to advise on company performance and how profits can be improved all whilst using Power BI.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analysing KPI's on customer contracts
  • Reporting the KPI's and outcome of analysis to operational managers
  • Flash reporting financials
  • Reporting accuracy and efficiency for provider referrals and payments system
  • Overseeing the daily flash reporting ensuring accuracy and completion of data
  • Developing BI tool generated reports to facilitate ad-hoc reporting needs
  • Providing daily MI to support referrals and payments, claims, reconciliation, and sub-contractor claim analysis
  • Preparing periodic performance reports and contractual performance statistics
Skills & Experience Required:

  • Up to date and relevant experience in a financial or data analysis role
  • Demonstrable experience of using Power BI, visual basics and ideally SQL
  • Ideally be Microsoft Certified
  • Evidence of dealing with high volumes of data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to present complex MI to all levels of staff within the business
  • Ability to understand and follow complex systems and procedures
  • Ability to interpret data to non-financial staff
As MI Analyst, you will be a key member of the business intelligence team and work closely with key stakeholders across the business to drive performance and profit. You will use your communication skills to enable operational staff to understand the data and analysis you provide. You will also have responsibility for daily reporting and flash reporting giving you autonomy. You will work in a collaborative team and enjoy the challenge of meeting deadlines and seeing the impact of the data and analysis you provide and having a positive impact on the business.

The salary is between £28,000 to £35,000. Benefits include: 25 days holiday + bank holidays plus the opportunity to buy and sell up to an additional 5 days per year, season ticket loan for public transport if needed, pension, and flexible working hours – contracted to a 40-hour week, but flexible start and finish times with core hours of 9am to 4:30pm. This role can also be worked entirely from home or the office or part office part home too.
