Our client in the service sector are now looking for a Financial Controller to join a small dedicated team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and act as Head of Finance, calling on external accountants for any further expertise or advice.
You will take full responsibility for the control and management of the finance team coupled with working closely with the MD and Senior Management on the strategic direction of the Group, including financial planning and decisions for growth of the Company.
Duties will include managing, training and developing the finance team
month end accounts preparation and reporting,
Audit and year end
UK GAAP
WIP,
Cashflow forecasting, VAT, CIS and PAYE.
Develop and support the execution of the strategic financial plan, defining strategies and KPI's.
The ideal person will be CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience, first rate communication and interpersonal skills, proven staff management, strong problem solver and advanced skills in Excel.
