Interim Cost Accountant

Your new company
This growing manufacturing business which has an established reputation within their sector, are now looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join their finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Your new role
Your new job will be maintaining, reviewing and analysing the standard costs of production. You'll be working with the manufacturing team to ensure records are accurately maintained, including bills and materials and waste. Further to this you'll be providing analysis of cost and manufacturing variances, working closely with the operations team to ensure issues are actioned.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with relevant experience of cost accounting. You will need strong communication skills and be able to build relationships outside of finance to ensure reporting is improved to encourage better strategic and business decision making. The client has also requested that you have previous experience within Manufacturing, Engineering or Assembling environments.
