Group Finance Director

A recently acquired software group are seeking to add a Group Finance Director who will play a critical role in business strategy to deliver against an exciting and ambitious growth plan.
You will be responsible for all financial aspects of the group both in the UK and overseas including remote departmental management. You will be a proactive member of the Senior Management Team with responsibility for driving profitable growth.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Ongoing financial planning, analysis and forecasting
• Prepare and be accountable for annual budgets and targets
• Monthly accounting and financial reporting with actionable commentary and analysis
• Analyse and recommend operational efficiencies that improve profitability
• Ensure proper application of group policies and practices including revenue recognition
• Provide input on contract negotiation with customers and suppliers
• Manage the group’s overall compliance position
• Optimize the overall group tax position

You will be an experienced commercial and ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Finance Director with a minimum of 5 years PQE, working in a multinational environment, ideally within the software / technology sector. You will experience of board level reporting and presentation and have delivered high quality reporting to a Group parent as well as tangibly adding value through your commercial interface with business.  You will have demonstrable desire to achieve with your own high expectations and ambitions.
