Finance Manager

Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with a market leading business who operate throughout the UK in sourcing a Finance Manager to join the organisation.

This role will suit an experienced, team-oriented people manager, with strong motivational capabilities with an eye for detail. Ideally AAT qualified; CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience and skilled, experienced user of Microsoft packages, especially Excel spreadsheets.

Ideally you will have experience of preparing journals and management accounts with the ability to work to strict deadlines alongside being a logical problem solver.

The role will be responsible for all financial management processes within the business.
Other responsibilities will include:

*Managing the day-to-day operation of the Finance office
*Preparation of and finalisation of management accounts for the group companies, including supporting schedules, analysis and commentaries
*Generation of depreciation, allocations, accruals, prepayments and similar journals for group companies
*Preparation and posting of journals related to accrued and deferred sales
*Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Reviewing client and staff commissions
*Generating VAT returns
*Assistance in the development of processes and systems to improve efficiency and control within the Finance department
*Ad-hoc projects as requested
