Interim Finance Business Partner

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be working with a prestigious business based in Bradford to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner.

As an immediate requirement, our client is looking to offer a 12 Month fixed term contract to cover a period of Maternity Leave. This interim role is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and get involved in a number of projects from day one, including developing an automated and more agile financial planning process, driving improvements across month end processes and reporting and supporting key stakeholders through a period of transition.

Your Responsibiliites:

o Trusted Business Partner to Commercial team, primary finance support to the commercial leads
o Maintain strong Finance to Finance relationship with the external customer finance teams
o Support the head of commercial finance in delivering reporting requirements, including Strat plan & AOP
o Commercial opportunity modelling and decision support including tenders, promotions, ROI etc.
o Business/Financial reporting and analysis
o Planning and forecasting (supporting the IBP and latest estimate process)
o Identification of risk and opportunities to commercial plans and supporting the business to find solutions
o Ensuring the integrity of the company's financial data
o Complete and continue to improve customer profitability analysis
o Develop commercial/Finance acumen of business partners
o Actively participate in own development and development of the wider finance team
o Work with the Shared service team to ensure accurate and timely accounting & corporate reporting.

Knowledge & Expertise:

o Qualified Accountant; experience in retail, FMCG and/or a highly data led finance function
o Excellent communication, relationship building and analytical skills
o Candidates must be collaborative team players with a strong ability to partner with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels.

Interested candidates must be available to commence Summer 2021 and must be happy to travel to the Bradford office at least 1 day per week. Travel to other sites may also be required.
