Senior Management Accountant required for a large and established business based in Liverpool. This business is going through a period of unprecedented growth and is known as a leader in their industry. The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with the senior leadership team to improve understanding of business performance, drive improvements, influence day to day decisions and contribute to the development of long-term strategy and direction.
This would suit an ambitious and driven qualified accountant, who has a flexible approach and good mix of management accounting and analysis experience.
Role Responsibilities
• Deliver robust and accurate Monthly Management Accounts to timetable and ensure adherence to accounting policy and procedures
• Production and development of timely financial information for senior management
• Business partnering the sales and operation teams
• Provision of financial information for ongoing projects
• Ensure robust and accurate monthly reconciliations are carried out in line with company requirements
• Preparation and review of both the short and long term forecasting requirements of the business.
• Provide accurate weekly cash forecasts
• Supporting the team with continuous improvement projects
Key Requirements
• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA)
• Substantial management accounting experience
• Excellent communication and organisation skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to influence people across the team and at senior levels.
• Project management skills.
• Report writing
• Presentation skills
