SF Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic property business based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking to bring a Client Accountant on board, reporting into the Client Accounting Manager, to produce month end reporting for clients in agreed formats on all financial activities on the portfolio of properties managed in a given period. This role is ideally suited to a part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) looking to develop with a thriving business.
Key Tasks:
- Assist with client budgeting/forecasting requirements
- Production of month end journals to include; accruals, prepayments, deferred income, rent free, vacant property provisions
- Review/Attest month end report prior to submission to clients
- Monthly review and sign off of bank reconciliations
- VAT reporting
- Non-resident Landlord monitoring and reporting
- Ensuring client requirements and quality procedures are followed
