Management Accountant

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a high growth business based in Radcliffe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful company who are looking to bring in a dynamic part/nearly qualified accountant. This role will provide the opportunity to be mentored by a high calibre Finance Manager within a hands-on environment.


The role will be pivotal in a growing business with several entities. You will be responsible for 1-2 of these and there is the opportunity for development and building a team of your own in the future.

Key Responsibilities 

• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and MI for multiple entities
• Balance sheet and GRNI reconciliations
• P&L Management
• Variance Analysis
• Monthly reporting
• Updating of Fixed Asset Register and calculation of depreciation 
• Supervising a small team of transactional staff
• Assisting with annual budgeting
• Audit assistance
• Insurance maintenance
• Dealing with main stakeholders
• Supporting the FM and FD with the growth of each business entities
• Ad-hoc project work as required

Candidate Profile 

• Previous experience of compiling and producing management accounts to a high standard of accuracy 
• Experience of financial reporting for multiple entities

• Part/Nearly CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified - 2-3 exams remaining
• Proficient user of Excel – Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Sumif etc
• Forward thinking and proactive 
• Able to identify financial and business risks to the company 
• Confident to challenge and question current processes made by the business 
• A self-starter who is enthusiastic & organised and able to work under minimal supervision
