Interim Financial Accountant

My client, a private equity backed specialist within the education sector requires a financial accountant for a maternity cover. The role will be part of a small, global head office team providing financial support to the Group Financial Accountant.

Specifically this role will focus on assisting the preparation of the management accounts, year end accounts and associated journals and reconciliations. There will also be some work on the annual audit, forecasting cycle and integration of a newly acquired business.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with experience of using Agresso GL and some exceptional cost forecasting. You will also be a strong communicator and problem solver with the ability to build good internal relationships.
