A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join a reputable manufacturing business based in Barnsley as they look to expand their team!
Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include:
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
* Producing key weekly reports
* Daily efficiency reporting to leadership teams highlighting performance
* Proactively identifying and rectifying cost efficiencies and process improvement
* Business partnering with leadership team and providing clear ad-hoc reporting to help drive improvements in the business
* Assisting in preparing annual budgets and monitoring performance in conjunction with management team
* Monitoring accounting records and internal controls
* Preparing capital expenditure justifications and performing post implementation reviews
* Sales ledger and petty cash
* Any ad-hoc tasks appropriate to the role
Experience/person specification:
* Degree or equivalent educated
* Part qualified working toward Accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
* Strong understanding of all areas of transactional finance
* Experience of dealing with consolidations and monthly reporting (including presentation)
* A clear communicator and the ability to build relationships and business partner with non-finance staff
* Strong Self Starter with the ability to work "hands on"
