Head of Group Accounting

greenwellgleeson have been retained to recruit for a Head of Group Accounting for a global distribution business. As part of a US group this stand alone entity have been growing over 20% year on year both organically and through acquisition. Leading a small team the focus of the role will be on ensuring that the consolidated statutory accounts are produced in line with group accounting policies. Covering multiple international entities, you will need drive the reporting agenda and subsequent consolidation, liaise with local and group audtiors as well manage group submissions. In additional there will be a real focus on driving best practice, improve reporting structure and processes around the regions as well as developing and managing the team. To be considered for the role you will need to be technically excellent with US Gaap knowledge highly desirable, have experience of working in an international business, demonstrate the desire to drive process improvements and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
