Head of Group FP&A

Dartmouth Partners are partnered with a global private equity backed business services organisation who are looking for a Head of Group FP&A. Situated at their offices between Chester and Liverpool, the position will report into the Group Finance Director.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Drive divisional FP&A teams to produce all relevant information and analysis sufficient to prepare the monthly group board report, including commentary
• Prepare monthly board pack, providing key business insights to Executive Management
• Perform analysis required to understand and challenge the key drivers of variances
• Provide monthly margin analysis, providing full commentary and KPI summaries, comparing activities to budget and forecasts to explain variances and trends
• Manage the monthly rolling, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
• Challenge forecasts / budget submissions, challenging trends and providing valuable business insights into future performance of the business
• Prepare Quarterly Forecast and Budget presentations for the Senior Executives and Group Main Board
• Taking a lead on all FP&A finance continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the Group CFO in the completion of the annual strategy review process / 5-year plan
• Manage and lead the Group FP&A team

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA or overseas equivalent)
• Previous experience within a senior financial analysis role and a demonstrable track record of building high performing teams
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills
• Strong financial modelling skills, including use of pivot tables and manipulation of significant data
• Experience in working with business partners to maximise revenue and profitability
