Interim Grant Accountant
Michael Page are recruiting for an Interim Grant Accountant to join a Local Government Authority based in Lancashire but working from home throughout
The client is a Local Government organisation based in Lancashire. They are offering home working throughout. They are a well respected organisation and offer excellent career opportunities. They are looking for an Interim Grant Accountant to join their established team. The role is initially for 6 months.
As an Interim Grant Accountant, duties will include but are not limited to, managing the full grant process, reviewing grants, reviewing financial aspects of new contracts, reviewing and assisting with the development of project proposal budgets, preparing reports, verifying budget proposals for grant applications, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a local government organisation previously ESSENTIAL
- Have reviewed Grants ESSENTIAL
- Have prepared reports ESSENTIAL
- Be able to start immediately or hold a 1 week notice ESSENTIAL
- Be a Qualified Accountant DESIRABLE
£50,000- £58,000 equivalent on a daily rate basis + Interim Grant Accountant role + Lancashire based public sector organisation + option to work completely remotely + PAYE/Umbrella + Weekly pay
