Finance Business Partner

This newly created Finance Business Partner position will be a pivotal role between the Finance Team and the Operations and Commercial Teams to provide support and data analysis, together with providing assistance to deliver high quality
financial reporting.

Description

This Finance Business Partner will provide accurate and timely financial information whilst building and
maintaining strong collaborative relationships with the Programme Management teams.

• Regular interaction with the commercial and operational teams, to understand the wider
• developments in the business and the impacts to financial performance
• Advise and support the Finance Director by providing and interpreting analytical information
• to enable effective decision making.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations including timely resolution of reconciling items
• Development of internal controls
• Supporting both internal and external audits
• Development of financial models and reporting
• Liaise with Corporate Accounting as required
• Monthly management reporting
• Lead/support lean improvement activities
• Act as delegate for Finance Director as required

Skills and experience

• Ideally have experience of working with SAP4/HANA but not essential
• Advanced Excel skills
• An understanding of Long‐Term Accounting principles and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build strong
• business relationships
• An analytical mindset, with an aptitude to both analyse and present numbers
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload and a team player
• Able to work to strict deadlines

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Degree in Business or Finance - desirable but not essential
