Currently recruiting for a number of outstanding Audit Assistant Manager opportunities in this Top 12 Accountancy practice that has grown impressively in recent years and significantly increased their portfolio in the UK audit and accounting market. The Audit Assistant Manager roles can be based in London or in a number of their regional offices - Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Southampton etc - please feel to enquire about others)
The responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager will include:
- Working with a diverse client base from smaller owner managed businesses to international conglomerates in a broad range of industries
- Assist in the planning and preparation of audit assignments and leading the on site element of the work
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Complete audit process with appropriate documentation
- Preparation of accounts, reports and other assignments as required
- Development and supervision of junior members of staff
- Maintain an appropriate level of up to date accounting knowledge
Requirements for the Audit Assistant Manager role:
- ACA/ ACCA or CA - newly or recently qualified
- At least three years previous external audit experience in an accountancy practice
- Technically strong with up to date accounting knowledge
- Experience of planning,undertaking and documenting full audits
- A passion for delivery quality and respecting the company values
- A professional and confident approach to establish credibility with senior managers and clients
- IT literate
- Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with others
