A well respected manufacturing company based in Bracknell that are growing organically and via acquisition are looking for a high quality finance manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager will manage a transactional team of 4 whilst supporting the business on a number of different projects.
Michael Page have been exclusively retained to support a growing manufacturing business in the search of a high quality Finance Manager. Due to an internal move the organisation are seeking an experienced qualified accountant to support the business during the next phase of their growth.
Based in Bracknell, the organisation has an excellent reputation in their market and due to the nature of the products they manufacture and distribute they have seen sales rise during the global pandemic. This has resulted in a number of acquisitions made by the parent company within the UK and internationally.
The successful Finance Manager will manage the transactional processing team including recruiting, training & development of new staff. You will manage the month end reporting process including producing management reports, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
Other responsibilities include;
- Supporting quarterly group reporting
- Prepare VAT & other statutory returns
- Manage the European subsidiaries
- year end reporting including working with external audit team
- Become a system superuser and work with IT
- Cashflow forecasting
- Annual budgeting
The successful candidate will hold an accountancy qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) alongside experience of being a Finance Manager. Team management is key for the successful candidate as they will be expected to manage 4 people from day 1. The candidate must demonstrate great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
It would be advantageous if the successful candidate has experience within the manufacturing sector alongside SAP system experience but this is not essential.
