Resourcery Group are working with a global business services provider to bring on board a Financial Accounting Manager with strong financial reporting skills. This is a 12 month FTC (not day rate) based in the North West and moving forwards you are going to be needed in the office on a 2-3 days per week basis.

The role:
- Managing a small finance team to ensure that the financial reporting deadlines are delivered on time
- Producing the monthly and quarterly financial reporting for multiple entities across the region
- Statutory accounts and financial accounts production
- VAT and tax compliance working with external advisors to support
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Maintaining the financial controls framework and implementing any process improvements required around this
- IFRS16 and IFRS 3 reporting
- Forecasting and reporting into Group Finance
- Year end audit and managing the relationship with the auditors
The ideal candidate:
- A fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA
- Have a strong financial accounting and controls background
- Be up to date technically
- Have used SAP or other large ERP systems
- Be able to commit to the duration of the 12 month assignment
- Able to manage and lead a small team
- Work to tight deadlines and ensuring that the month end reporting runs to timetable
