Financial Accountant

Marks Sattin are currently partnering with a leading and well-known client in their industry that has a strong focus on quality, innovative and inspiring products within their specialised field. With exciting growth and business investment planned, the finance function is expanding and as such require a Financial Accountant to join the team.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the role is a great opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a critical role within a growing high performing finance team. The role is broad - you will manage statutory reporting, tax and treasury requirements. You will be responsible for the statutory reporting process, monitoring and overseeing accounting and internal control developments and working across treasury to manage cash and hedging requirements. Finally, you will also help establish the tax strategy for the business both for direct and indirect tax.

We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) that has a chartered background with a strong accounting pedigree. Your experience will include statutory reporting and exposure to tax and / or treasury. In addition, you will have a confident, inquisitive and curious approach to work that will enable you to build relationships across the business and with senior stakeholders in order to help guide and influence decisions. This is a key role for an ambitious individual to drive progression of the finance function and support business growth.
