This innovative design and manufacturing business is a regional success story whose products are distributed to customers worldwide. Recognised as a market leader they operate in a competitive FMCG space and invest heavily in R&D to remain at the forefront of their industry. A recent focus on the finance department has highlighted the need to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to strengthen team and focus on developing a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller this new role will have the following responsibilities:
- Reporting KPI’s to drive performance and efficiency
- Review and analysis of trends to identify risk and opportunity
- Supporting implementation of a new ERP system
- Management and analysis of stock
- CAPEX analysis and investment appraisal
- Working with senior finance staff to deliver projects
The ideal candidate for this role would have strong business partnering skills and would enjoy working with non-finance staff on improvement projects, identifying and implementing process changes to drive efficiency. Applicants should be delivery focused, ideally with experience from the manufacturing sector, part or fully CIMA / ACCA qualified, with excellent IT skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within a business.
