Accountancy Practice - Holywell - Assistant Manager

Your new firm
You will be joining a well established firm of chartered accountants who are based in the heart of Holywell. This general practice offer a range of services to their extensive client base inclusive of audit, accounts preparation, tax and payroll and following a period of sustained growth and succession planning for the future, they are now looking to appoint an experience Assistant Manager to the successful team.

Your new role
As an Assistant Manager with this firm you will be required to work with a range of clients from various sectors, preparing their statutory accounts, helping to manage the portfolio and delegating work to colleagues. This role will see you hold the relationship with the clients and work with them on a daily basis offering the best business advice. Your role will also entail some audit work throughout the year where you will be responsible for planning and leading the audit team.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have recent experience working within an accountancy practice and have had staff management experience ideally. This role is suited to an ACCA/ ACA qualified accountant who has excellent communication skills and is up to date on the latest audit and accounting legislation in the UK. Previous experience in Audit will be looked upon favourably as would the ability to speak Welsh.
