Group Financial Controller

A Group Financial Controller / Chief Accountant role for a successful manufacturing business in Manchester.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Director and responsible for a small team, you will lead on the delivery group reporting for the UK. This will include: Ensuring the accuracy of the Trial Balance of several legal entities, guaranteeing full compliance to both local and group accounting standards; Preparing the local statutory accounts, managing the local statutory audit process and all other statutory requirements linked to closing the annual statutory accounts process; and preparing all local tax submissions and managing all local tax audits.

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant with experience in a similar role . Good knowledge of accounting and financial statement reporting. Good knowledge of VAT, corporation tax, intrastat rules and requirements. Microsoft Office skills. Experience of ERP systems like SAP or ORACLE. Hyperion experience is preferred but not essential. Good English language skills for communication with internal/external parties.
