Excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing and changing business.
Purpose of the role is to deliver accurate and timely management reporting information to support the business and manage the team through the end to end Management Accounting cycle, monthly, quarterly and annually, plus improve systems and processes on an ongoing basis.

Purpose of the role is to deliver accurate and timely management reporting information to support the business and manage the team through the end to end Management Accounting cycle, monthly, quarterly and annually, plus improve systems and processes on an ongoing basis.
Duties:
- Management of a small team of transactional and PQ staff.
- Ensure the production of all management accounts and related reporting to deliver accurate information on a timely basis in line with both local and Group requirements
- Perform month-end activities under tight reporting deadlines – proactively identify process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy of reporting
- Regularly review performance and apply thorough business understanding to identify, understand and explain variances to expectations, including product margin analysis
- Produce accurate and insightful reconciliations and ensure that reconciling items are appropriately actioned and closed
- Assist in the completion of the external audit work and internal delivery requests, producing informative analysis when required
- Develop strong working relationships with group stakeholders and a thorough understanding of group reporting requirements
- Part qualified, finalist or newly qualified accountant from any major body (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
- Experience if managing a team or Transactional and Part Qualified staff.
- Experience of preparing management accounts, preferably in fast growing and evolving businesses with Experience of stock accounting and related processes eg. FMCG or manufacturing business
- Strong organisational skills – able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Great attention to detail, high professional standards and personal integrity
- Strong communication skills – able to communicate effectively across the business.
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and SAP B1 experience desirable
- The ability to work with key stakeholders across the business
