Interim Group Financial Accountant

Our Client are experiencing an exciting period of growth and are looking to add to the team initially on an interim basis for 6 months, but with a strong possibility of a longer term / permanent appointment. For a Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Accountant to join the group reporting team of this highly profitable organisation with a unique business model.

The business operates across 2 main divisions with 11 offices across England, this role reports to the Group Financial Controller and also works closely with the Chief Financial Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely management reporting for the Group, other key responsibilities will include:

*Monthly consolidation, including preparing and drafting the Board report
*Half year results consolidation and interim accounts preparation
*Statutory financial statements incl. Plc consolidated accounts and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS)
*Consolidating forecasts and annual budget
*Managing/coordinating with external auditors on the annual audit process
*Liaising with the tax advisors to ensure completion of tax returns and quarterly instalment payments
*Managing the cash position of the Group through accurate tracking, forecasting and management of bank drawdowns and deposits
*Ad hoc projects/analysis as required

Ideally suited to an individual who demonstrates not only sound technical and systems skills but also excellent communication skills and a flexible proactive approach. This is a great opportunity for both the immediate and longer term as it is available now.
