FP&A Manager
A fully home-based position. Candidates must live local enough to Yorkshire to be able to commute for meetings / ad-hoc travel on a semi-regular basis.
The role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a high-profile role. You will be an expert on all aspects of analysis monitoring, understanding and reporting on key areas of the groups performance as well as managing group wide budgeting and forecasting.
This growing, listed business is at an exciting stage of shaping the financial planning environment across the group and this role will play a key role in the movement whilst having high level exposure and interaction with the FD and CFO
Reporting into the Head of Group Finance, you will have a significant level of responsibility, leading on the following areas;
- Scenario modelling
- Lead on reporting and analysis across the Group and become the inhouse expert in this area
- Work with the divisional business intelligence teams to carry out regular back-testing
- Engage with the business to understand the existing product range and advise on the impacts of any new products
- Manage the group budgeting and forecasting process
- Support the implementation and become an expert user of the company's forecasting software
- Encourage an attitude of continuous service improvement across the finance teams
- Contribute in business issues and key working projects for new initiatives
- Ensure Adequate Financial Controls are in place
- Support the Head of Group Reporting, FD and CFO as required with the completion of projects and meeting agreed deadlines
The Requirements
- A fully qualified Accountant
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis and excellent analytical skills
- Ideally previous experience working in a large business
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- And meticulous attention to detail
