Commercial Finance Manager

Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a truly fascinating FMCG organisation based in the Northampton region to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.

Our client is going through an exciting time of growth and as a result this Commercial Finance Manager role is a newly created position to provide top class support to the Finance Director.

The Commercial Finance Manager will take ownership of Management Accounting duties, but also demonstrate commercial analysis skills and act as a true business partner to the wider business demonstrating gravitas and confidence when liaising with the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

• Production of the monthly management accounts
• Provision of commercial analysis and insight to aid key decision making
• Business Partnering with key stakeholders, ranging from Sales/Commercial teams, Pricing, Operations and Supply Chain
• Overseeing a team of 3 in finance/accounts
• Providing key support to the Finance Director and providing confidence through robust financial controls

The ideal candidate will be:

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experienced working in a fast paced environment (FMCG, Retail, Sales & Distribution etc)
• Able to demonstrate commercial nous and awareness
• Experienced in a similar role
• Experienced managing a small team or be able to demonstrate leadership qualities
• A strong excel user with good general ERP system experience
